Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions are most often the place in which students complete their vocational education and training (VET). TAFE courses are often short with certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas also being offered. Some TAFE institutions also offer High Education courses. Accredited qualifications that can be gained at TAFE include business management, community services, hospitality, beauty and fitness amongst other courses. The city with the highest proportion of people with a certificate level education is Darwin, at 17795 per 100,000 persons. Canberra has the least at 11271 per 100,000 persons.
