Australia is home to 7 of the Golf Magazine’s top 100 golf courses in the world including the Royal Melbourne, Kingston Heath in Victoria, and Australia’s oldest established golf club, the Royal Adelaide.  A number of golfing packages are available in each city, allowing you to lodge comfortably in close proximity to each of the major courses over the weekend. Tasmania has the highest number of golf clubs per 100,000 persons, at 12.94. The Northern Territory has the least, at 4.81, closely followed by Queensland at 4.91.
