This FACT indicates the number of people who follow the religion of Christianity in each city, per 100,000 persons. The following Christian branches are included in this count: Anglican, Assyrian Apostolic, Baptist, Brethren, Catholic, Church of Christ, Eastern Orthodox, Jehovah's Witnesses, Latter-day Saints, Lutheran, Oriental Orthodox, Other Protestant, Pentecostal, Presbyterian and Reformed, Salvation Army, Seventh-day, Adventist, Uniting Church, Apostolic Church (so described), Church of God, Australian Christian Churches (so described), New Church Alliance, and Other Christian (as taken by the 2016 ABS Census).

The city with the highest number of people indentifying themselves as Christian, is Brisbane at 53,644 per 100,000 persons. The city with the lowest number of people with Christian affiliation is Darwin, at 44,833 per 100,000 persons.
