According to the 2016 ABS Census, the city with the highest number of 'Gen Y's' is Darwin with 34,968 per 100,000 people. The city with the lowest is Hobart with 26,249 per 100,000 people, followed closely by Adelaide with 27,709 per 100,000 people.
