This FACT indicates the number of available jobs as of March 28th 2018 on seek.com, in each Australian capital city. Seek, an online job search platform, claims to be Australia's largest and most visited. While not every available job will be listed on the platform, the numbers do provide some insight into the nature of local economies, and the competition individuals face when applying for a job in each capital city. It helps to answer the question: how easy is it to find a job in Australia? However, it is worth noting that mainly professional positions (that is, jobs for which higher training is required) are listed, whereas less professional and casual jobs tend to be listed on different sites, or not at all.
