The numbers include all road, water, air and other types of transport for both private and commercial use and represent the usage from 2015 to 2016. The state with the highest usage is Western Australia with 395.0 ML per 100,000 people. The state with the lowest is Tasmania with 163.6 ML per 100,000 people.
