Recycled water, also known as reclaimed water is the end product of treated wastewater, namely sewage, that is treated to remove solids and impurities to a level consistent with its intended use. This FACT indicates the amount,in megalitres, of state water supply sourced from recycled water per 10,000 persons in each Australian state. These figures have been calculated by obtaining the total volume of water supply sourced from recycled water in each state and divided per 10,000 people.
