This FACT indicates the average number of people that occupy a household in each Australian capital. Data collected in the 2011 ABS Census shows that the highest number of people per household was split between Brisbane, Darwin and Sydney at 2.7. The lowest was also split between Adelaide and Hobart, both at 2.4.
