A little bit about Brisbane
Brisbane is Queensland's capital, and the gateway to the rest of the 'Sunshine State', home to the Gold Coast, Australia's most famed theme parks, the Great Barrier Reef, and the magical Whitsundays. Although centred around the Brisbane River, Brisbane takes the beach very seriously, and has created a city beach on the river's south bank... now a buzzing CBD precinct of the same name. Brisbane has a robust economy, and is one of Australia's fastest growing cities. Unofficially referred to as 'Brisvegas', it is home to several casinos, and refers to the carefree, fun-loving lifestyle its residents enjoy.
